Hi Christi. Thanks for your question. That sounds like a fabulous idea and you can certainly do it. I may try it myself next time :)

Can you tell me if I can ask God to give the crystal I choose the energy to heal me, rather than to ask the crystal itself?

Sheila Satin - April 29, 2021

Hi Adam, yes, we use both Agate and Selenite to charge other stones. These are best if you have them in slab form so that you can place other crystals on top of them for charging. You could also use crystal clusters, which circulate the energy through the crystal tips to create a nice charging area for your other stones.

You are right, you do not want to use water on your Angelite, however, placing them on your Agate or Selenite stones will be perfect. You could do this in the moonlight or a sunny windowsill to charge up as well.

I have not heard about putting them in a closet, cupboard, or wooden drawer, but if you try it out, let us know how it works!

Adam J - April 29, 2021

Hello I was wondering what crystals are good for charging and cleansing other crystals like angelite? Does selenite charge or just cleanse other crystals ? And what about agates can any type of agate charge and cleanse other crystals I ask because I have carnelian agate and many other types of agates that I can’t identify and I also have selenite crystals which I heard from various sources cleanse crystals but does it charge them too I need to know because I have angelite and I want to be able to charge it during winter or anytime because I know you can’t use water because it turns it into gypsum and I don’t feel like turning it back into Angelite heating it to 200 degrees Celsius all the time that would get old fast. I know you can use the Sun and moon and your breath to charge them but I was wondering about what crystals could charge and cleanse them.i also heard you can charge them by putting them into a closet or wooden cupboard or wooden drawer furniture have you heard about this does it work? Please answer all these questions for me if you can cause I need all the help I can get thank you God bless!!

Thank you so much!

Sheila Satin - February 15, 2021

Hi Yodi, you are correct, everyone has a different opinion on healing techniques. That is because every single one of us is vibrating at a different level; it’s what makes us unique! So, take all the information you have found and experiment to find what is right for you!

Physically, you are right, Angelite and Fluorite are softer stones, so you want to keep them out of submerged water. A little water is okay, but to be on the safe side, choose a different method.

Here is our video and page on crystal care if you haven’t seen it yet: https://satincrystals.com/pages/crystal-care

Crystals also love charging in the moonlight, so you don’t have to put them in sunlight if you don’t want to!

Sincerely,
Sheila Satin

Hii there!
I just came across your site and I love it!
I have a question for you guys because I’m not really sure and every site on the internet seems to say something different, so that’s not really handy. I hope you can help me out! :)
What is the best way to clean and charge angelite, fluorite and amazonite? Because these are all soft stones, which means they can’t be put in water. And the sun can also be damaging to fluorite, I thought? Are there also other important things I need to know about the cleansing/charging of these crystals?
Thank you so much in advance!
Love,
Yodi

Hi Sladja, Thanks for your email. All of your stones can be cleaned in water except for the calcite. A little bit of water is OK but I would keep it out of prolonged water next submerging it overnight because it is a soft stone.

Sladja - February 5, 2021

I have some crystals to cleanse, but I’m unsure if I can put them in water.
Here ther are:
Honey calcite,
Rubelline Tourmaline
Black Obsidian
Ruby
Black Tourmaline
Calcite
Green Tourmaline
Watermellon Tourmaline
Paprok Tourmaline
Beril in Quartz and
Chrysophrase.
Thank you.
