How do I use Headache Crystals?

Once you have your favorite Headache Crystals in hand, make sure to cleanse, charge, and program them for your intent. When they are ready, here are a few ways you can use the stones in healing:

  1. Crystal Massage for Headaches - Whether you have a proper crystal massage wand or just a polished stone, rub the crystal on your temples, your forehead, neck, head, or anywhere that needs a release of tension.

  2. Crystal Mandalas and Grid for Headaches - Besides putting you in a meditative, relaxed state, creating a crystal grid or mandala with your Headache Crystals  focuses your intent on releasing stress from your head. You can grid one type of crystal or a whole array of crystals you like to work with when a headache comes on.

  3. Crystal Layout for Headaches - Use your favorite crystals and lie in a crystal layout. Surround your body with the stones and make sure to place at least one at your Third Eye Chakra and Crown Chakra. You could also hold a crystal point directing away from your body in your dominant hand and a crystal point directing toward your body in your non-dominant hand. Create whatever circuit you would like, and lie in it for at least 15 minutes.

  4. Third Eye Crystal for Headaches - Simple place your favorite Headache Crystal on your Third Eye Chakra (at the center of your forehead). The weight of the stone will have you focused on its energies. Imagine the tension being filtered through the crystal and out into the Universe like a little vacuum of positivity.

  5. Crystal Meditation for Headaches - Hold, wear, and surround yourself with your Headache Crystals and meditate. Breathe in the calm, healthy air, and release the toxic tension in your brain. If you are not into meditating, try a guided meditation focused on releasing stress.

  6. Carrying Crystals for Headaches - Program your crystals and jewelry for headache relief and carry them in your purse, pocket, or pouch or wear them in jewelry form throughout the day.

  7. Worry Stones for Headaches - Sometimes your headaches are caused by worries. In this case, use a worry stone or a crystal with a smooth surface that you can rub your thumb on whenever you are feeling overwhelmed. Imagine the crystal absorbing your worries and filling you with calm.

  8. Clarity Crystals for Headaches - Sometimes your headaches are caused by indecision. In this case, use clarity crystals like Clear Quartz to find a solution to your problem. Why not try a clarity meditation?

  9. Bedroom Crystals for Headaches - When all you want to do is lie down in bed, your headache is telling you it's time to rest. Have your Headache Crystals ready within easy reach of your bedside. Place them wherever you desire - on your forehead, under your pillow, hanging from your bedroom ceiling. Create a comfortable crystal nook where you can retreat and wait for your headache to dissipate.

  10. Exercise with your Headache Crystals - If your headache is caused by computer stress or a sedentary lifestyle, move away from your workstation, off of the couch, out of the extended stay in your bed, and get your body pumping with energy. It might be the last thing you want to do, but exercising is a great way to relieve stress and headaches. Wear or have your Headache Crystals in your aura while you are dancing, walking, jogging, biking, etc., and the pain will be forgotten by the end of it.

  11. Crystal Healers for Headaches - Going to a professional healer to work on your headache relief may be the best solution for you. The healer can perform their rituals on your aura as you lie in comfort and let them do all the work.

  12. Chakra Plates for Headaches - Create a chakra plate with your favorite Headache Crystals. Place the plate on your forehead or whatever chakra you think is causing your stress. Add a tuning fork to vibrate the energy into the chakra for an enhanced experience!

Bonus tips: Consider freezing your crystals if you like the cold sensation on your skin or warming your crystals if you prefer the heat for healing.

Lisa's personal experience with Headache Crystals

Unfortunately, I suffer from chronic migraines that began in my late 20's. Several years ago when I told my ear doctor that I was getting migraines, he suggested migraine medicine because it contains caffeine. From that day onward, I decided that I would rather drink coffee than take pharmaceuticals. Before that, I was not a coffee drinker at all! I am thankful that I can keep migraines at bay most days via my morning espressos.

Still, those migraines slip through time and again- especially if I'm tired, overheated, or in my hormonal cycle. That's when I turn to over-the-counter migraine medicine and healing crystals for relief. My favorite method is to rub cool crystals over my temple and forehead to help calm my facial vessels. I've used various massage wands over the years. Next, I want to try a Rose Quartz Facial Roller because it seems like a good tool. That will be added to my headache healing kit soon.

Once in a while, I'll have a common headache. Those are caused by lack of sleep or some other stressful event. As I usually know the cause of my headaches, I can remedy them.

If the headache is due to lack of sleep, I will turn to Amethyst to feel more restful as I try to nap it off. If it's from stress, I'll make a better effort to breathe deep and hold onto a serene crystal such as Aquamarine or Blue Agate.

Although there's no certain cure for migraines and headaches, we are lucky that there is a relief. Healing crystals are here to help.

My favorite Headache Crystal is not on the list of the top 7, but it works for me. Angelite is my top pick when it comes to relieving headaches!

Luckily I do not get headaches often and I have never suffered from migraines like my sister Lisa does. However, my problem is dehydration - I'm just so lazy to drink that water! If it gets out of control, I end up with a dehydration headache.

Besides reluctantly drinking my liquids, I get out my Angelite massage wand. For me, physical sensation in healing is the best, which is why I prefer crystals in the first place. I massage the wand over my temples and Third Eye chakra, sometimes even my scalp and neck.

My Angelite is always standing by. I have one at my computer desk and one at my bedside. Fortunately, I don't have to use it that often for headaches, but it also doubles as a general stress relief stone!
