Order # 4509 Hello Satin Crystal, have a question about my citrine order. I received the stone and it is all white it does not have any yellow on it. I want to make sure you sent me a citrine stone. I was not able to include a picture. I just want to review the stone you send me. Thanks

Hi Alexandra! Thank you for writing. I remember packing your citrine and yes it is a light yellow piece. The organic citrines vary from very pale to very dark. In the listing photos you will see the contrast between the colors. That being said, they also vary in shape and the one you received has a wonderful faceted point formation! ~ Sheila Satin

I was just able to officially open and look at my crystal on Christmas and I love it. Although I’ve been given crystals before, it’s the first one I’ve ever researched and purchased for a specific purpose and I am very happy with my purchase. I have a couple of questions. Can I cleanse it using water? If so can I use salt water? Or will it cause damage? Is there a way for me to buff some of the scratches off of the sides? I read that you can use fine grain sandpaper but don’t want to cause additional scratches. Thank you so much!

I'm thrilled to hear that you are enjoying your Citrine and spending the energy to make your manifestations come true.

You can cleanse it with water but we never recommend soaking it for too long. That can cause eventual damage to the surface (a quick dip and clean won't hurt it). Salt water is not necessary. As to polishing the point, I don't recommend using sandpaper on any crystals unless you are a skilled lapidary worker. Personally, I wouldn't dare due to the chance of damage. These Citrines are natural, with no polish or coating to protect them from the elements. That's a part of the beauty.
