Choosing Crystals For Your Pet

Cats and Fluorite Egg - Crystals for your PetsNo one wants to see their pets suffer or feel bad, but it inevitably does happen. When pets feel bad, you may not notice it until it becomes very painful for them. Going to the vet's office with general symptoms may lead to a lot of debt, and your beloved pet may still feel bad.

Crystals are the alternative when it comes to the care of your pet. Like humans, the energy from crystals can be released to pets and provide certain healing energies that can't be purchased in a pill form.

How to Choose the Right Crystals for Your Pet

Like choosing crystals for yourself, there isn't any set standard or rigorous rules on choosing them for your pets. When choosing crystals for yourself, you know that placing them in your hands normally works because when you hold the right crystal, your hands feel the vibration as well as the warmth.

If you have to choose a crystal for someone else, you may struggle with finding the right one. This is when your intuition comes in. If you tend not to "hear" your intuition, you may first want to strengthen your Third Eye Chakra.

Your furry (or scaly) friend can't tell you when they feel the vibration or when you have found the perfect crystal for them, so here are some suggestions to help you choose the right crystals for your pet:

1. Let your pet take the test. Set out a few crystals and place them one at a time in front of them and between their paws. Don't allow them to chew on the crystals.

2. Watch your pet's reaction to the crystal. If they don't pay any attention to it, then that crystal is not for them. If they begin to relax, maybe fall asleep, or roll around on the crystal, then you may have found the right one. You can even sometimes see drool coming from their mouths if it's the right crystal.

3. Try removing the crystal and see what they do. If they begin looking for the crystal, you may want to put it back and assume you have found the right one.

Once you have a little selection of your pet's chosen crystals, you can get to the healing! Visit our tutorial on How to use Crystals to Heal your Pet

No matter how you wish to use your crystals, activate your healing intentions and your animal will feel your love and care.

Hi Mari, thanks for writing. I know it’s difficult when our pets get sick. I have two cats and two dogs myself.

Just surrounding your kitty with calming energy will help. Those crystals that make you feel calm and positive, will radiate the same energy to her as well.

Here is an article that may help you: https://satincrystals.com/pages/pet-crystals

Hi! I recently just found myself curious and exciting about crystals and all of their beautiful vibrations. My cat recently was discovered with a murmur in her heart and I sense she feels me being upset about the news making her feel down. I been trying to find the best crystal for her to heal and stay stable and sense i am with her which would be the best crystal for her? Thank yo

Hi Wendy, good to hear from you. I can relate to your desires to heal and alleviate your dogs pain. I have two dogs and two cats of my own. Moonstone sounds like a perfect one for calming, healing, yin energy. In the end each dog, just like each person, will react differently to each Crystal. But if your dog sees that you are vibing with your Crystal she is most likely to respond in kind.

I’d love a recommendation on a crystal as I’m all new to this. We recently adopted a dog and she has some lung/heart damage from heart worms. Luna LOVES to be massaged and I want to incorporate crystal therapy/support for here while i love eon her. Because of her name I was drawn to the Cream Moonstone Sphere Serene Soul Healing Crystal Ball. However I’d love your suggestion . Thanks for your help and I look forward. to hearing from you!

Hi Renee and Otis,

So sorry to hear about your kitty, we hope he’s feeling better by now.

Our recommendation is to take him to a vet, as this could be a medical condition that requires medical care.

After you get a diagnosis, you might consider making him a crystal elixir. We have simple instructions on this article:

Keep us posted on little Otis.

HI my kitten has been vomiting since yesterday. Not non stop but every so often. He drinks some water. No food or his KMR. Times he looks lathargic. Could you help me in what stones I should use to help him get back to his normal playful onry self! And how to use them properly. I would appreciate it very much.
Thank you

Hi Jean, I am so sorry to hear about your pet troubles and we can definitely relate having had many cats and dogs in our lives since childhood.

Sometimes certain crystals just do not vibe with the pets, just like with people, so there’s not much you can do. You definitely don’t want to force it as it might be too strong of an energy for them, which is why they are removing themselves from the situation. If they do not like to wear or have it near them directly I would suggest placing the crystals in the room out of reach and in general making sure that the space is calm and peaceful.

I assume you have already visited your veterinarian. Beyond that I would recommend finding alternative holistic healers for pets on yelp.com or google.com for local references.

Hi, my fur baby has skin problems. Also, she acts up by peeing and pooping all over the house even though she is toilet-trained when I stay out during the weekends or when I go out without bringing her along. With the above in mind, I made her a collar comprising of amethyst, moss agate, smoky quartz and clear quartz crystal beads. I also try to place a rose quartz stone around her bed area at night. However, I notice she shuns the rose quartz stone and tends to sleep elsewhere, away from the stone. Generally she seems not to like any of the crystals. She still continues to act up even with the crystal collar. What am I doing wrong?

Hi Joan,

Thank your for your inquiry. We don’t have pet collars for sale. However, there are some other techniques you may be interested in hearing about, which assist pets. Please visit our Pet Crystals page. Please note that pets should be supervised when around crystals.

Hi, I would like to know if you sell crystal collars for dogs? I am looking for a collar for my Min Pin to keep him calm when he is outdoors.
Thank you.
