Self-hypnosis is when you use visualizations and relaxation methods to enter a hypnotic state. In the hypnotic state, you are operating from your subconscious mind. The chatter of your ego and conscious mind subside and you are relaxed, fully connected to your intuition.
Some evidence suggests self-hypnosis can effectively treat conditions like stress and insomnia. While it's best to have a trained professional perform hypnosis on you for healing issues and regressions, self-hypnosis is an ideal modality for relaxing anxiety and putting yourself to sleep. Best of all, you can do it without having to depend on others or waiting for an appointment.
In the state of self-hypnosis, you can also find clarity to certain issues because you are listening to your true Inner Self. The influence of your ego and the chaos of the outside world are subdued. You can ask questions to your Higher Self and gain guidance through visions, messages, sounds, and symbols.

In this pendulum meditation session, you induce a hypnotic state using a pendulum. You then have time to enjoy relaxation, where you can simply exist or you can conjure images that are of value to you. You can also go to sleep.
This pendulum relaxation meditation can be done anywhere. Just beware that you may fall asleep!

Once you know the technique, you will no longer need a script or video. You will be able to do self-hypnosis as it's meant to be, by yourself!
Begin with your eyes open. Settle into a quiet and comfortable space. Once you are ready, raise your crystal pendulum about 12 inches or 30 centimeters in front of you. The stone portion of the pendulum should be at eye level. Begin to swing it left and right, watching it tick tock like the pendulum of a grandfather clock. Your eyes follow the movement of the crystal.
(short pause)
Let your focus lie on the pendulum. Your other thoughts begin to subside as your mind tunes into the rhythm of relaxation. You may notice the movement of the pendulum change. Perhaps it swings in a circle, slows down, speeds up, or stops altogether. Whatever is happening, concentrate on the pendulum and let all other thoughts slip away.

Eventually, you find yourself wanting to close your eyes. Perhaps you feel sleepy or perhaps it's just more comfortable this way. Whenever you are ready, close your eyes and move your pendulum into your hands, holding it in a state of relaxation.
(short pause)
With your crystal pendulum now in your hands, you will shift your focus to your breathing. This time, you watch your breath go in and out as you inhale and exhale. With each motion, your body begins to relax more and more. Your muscles feel as though you are melting. Your mind slows down to the pace of your pulse. You surrender to the state of bliss. Continue to concentrate on your breathing. It aligns with the pulse of Earth and Spirit.
(short pause)
You have now entered a deeper state of subconsciousness. Imagine a staircase with handrails in front of you, leading downward. There are 20 steps that lead down. Soon, you are going to count yourself down from 20 to 0. With each number, you will take one step down until you reach the bottom. Hold the image of the staircase in your mind now, and once you hear counting you will descend.
(very short pause)
20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15 .... 5, 4, 3 2, 1, 0
You are now at the bottom of the staircase and deep into your subconscious mind. It is here that you are in touch with your Inner Self, your Guardian Angels, Spirit Guides, and more. You are in a space where you can control your thoughts; your thoughts no longer control you. What you do in this state of self-hypnosis is up to you.
Soon, you will enter in a state of free existence that lasts around 5 minutes. You can continue to relax, ask and receive answers from your intuition, astral journey, or even go into a nice, deep, peaceful sleep. Your time begins now.

You have done a phenomenal job of inducing the state of hypnosis and relaxing your mind. You will now prepare to enter the real world. Any time you need to settle your mind, you can pick up your pendulum and re-enter the gates of relaxation doing self-hypnosis.
When you are accustomed to this practice, you no longer need a script and can induce yourself into a state of relaxation or deep sleep. No longer will your racing mind be in control, keeping you up at night. You have the skills and tools to be peaceful and restful.
Let's end the session by giving thanks to the crystal pendulum for helping you into relaxation. Next time, you can experiment with different types of gemstone pendulums and see which crystals produce which effects.
