If metals bother you, you may try a leather, faux leather, or cotton cord instead... and wear the pendant over your clothes so the metal part doesn't touch the skin. Hi Jacqueline, thanks for your interest in the Moldavite Pendant. The metal is a zinc-alloy which does not usually contain any gold, but I am double checking with the vendor regarding nickel. Zinc Alloys may contain brass, aluminium, tin, and copper. Hi, thanks for writing. We don’t have any non-metal Moldavite jewelry at the moment because the beads are uncommon and if we were to make a stretch bracelet from a strand of Moldavite beads, it would get quite pricey!

The Moldavite pendants we have in stock are usually in metal, but we could put them on a leather or cotton cord if you don’t mind the pendant’s metal. Every once in a while I’ll get a Moldavite that has a natural hole in it and it can go directly on a cord, but those are pretty rare too.

I am trying to decide whether to buy a moldavite or hessonite garnet which one would you suggest if you have to buy only one. I know it is a personal decision but since you know s lot about crystals I wanted your opinion the decision would be mine.
