Hi Elle, unfortunately we do not have a regular source for authentic Sugilite. Once in a while our trusted vendors do get Sugilite in, but it’s not regular. Good luck on your search. It’s good to be skeptical of fakes, just keep educating yourself on real vs fake Sugilite and you will feel confident when you do come across genuine stones.

Hi Taylor, I generally go by the rule that if they are on the harder side of the Mohs Scale of Hardness, about a 6 or above, they will be okay in water.

HOWEVER, if they are highly polished, keep in mind that prolonged salt water can wear away the polish over time. The Quartz family, Aventurines, Agates, Jasper, Onyx usually do fine in water. I would be wary of placing Selenite, Calcite, Aragonites, Lepidolites and Fluorites in water.

If you are unsure, I’d keep them out of water or just give them a quick rinse rather than a salt soak.

Hi! i was wondering how to cleanse a couple of my crystals. I have Himalayan salt and was planning on leaving a couple in salt water. The crystals I have are rose quartz, obsidian, clear quartz, ametrine, selenite, sunstone, moonstone, onyx, fluorite, dalmatian jasper, blue aventurine, orange calcite, lepidolite, and aragonite. I was just researching to make sure I knew which crystals were safe to cleanse with salt water and how to cleanse the ones that aren’t. Which of my crystals are safe, and how do I cleanse the others? Thank you ❤️
