How do you prepare for the Tourmaline Meditation?
Gather your precious Tourmaline crystals and find a calm, comfortable place to meditate.
Pick a relaxing zen garden, meditation room, or a quiet nook of your house. Cleanse the energy of your space with sage, incense, or candlelight before beginning the meditation.
For this meditation, you want as many Tourmaline gems and jewels as possible. Place them around the space, have one or two to hold during the meditation, and wear your Tourmaline jewelry to enhance your experience.
After you are set up, prepare a glass of water and a set of Moqui Marbles, or your favorite grounding Earth stones. Keep them nearby so you can easily grab them right after the meditation. The Moqui Marbles and the water help you anchor back to reality after your etheric body has been floating through the spiritual realm.
Fear. Anger. Stress. Anxiety.
These are words that we know all too well. Even when you are not thinking about it, these thoughts are constantly trying to take over your mind. Just remember that they do not rule you.
Peace. Love. Trust. Happiness.
These are feelings we strive for and we are fully capable of achieving. Each moment of your life, you search for these positive feelings.
With the power of your mind and the energy of your Tourmaline crystals, you are going to minimize the negative vibes and maximize the positive vibrations in your life.
Let's begin by transforming some of your negative feelings into positive ones through your mindful breathing.
Hold your Tourmaline crystals in your hands and close your eyes. Take three deep breaths and with each inhale, breathe in peace, love, trust, and happiness.
With each exhale, release fear, worry, stress, and anxiety. Continue to do this with each breath going forward. Notice your mind and body becoming lighter and lighter as you let go of heavy, dense baggage and welcome the high frequency of positive thoughts.
Feel a rainbow of colors taking residence in your body. From the tip of your toes to the top of your head, darkness is being replaced by vibrant colors. Feel the colorful energy flow through your muscles, your veins, and your bones. Feel your whole body relax.
Your legs feel as though they are floating. Your mid-section becomes weightless. Your arms become wings. Your neck and face soften. The hard lines of stress vanish. Comforting, happy energy visits your mind and your body.
Transformation is simple with the help of Tourmaline. You just need to be reminded to relax. Good things are always available to you in this Universe; you just need to focus on them.
You are now ready to tap into a powerful and personalized stream of positive energy. But first, you are going to think of one trait about yourself that you have found bothersome for a long time.
Here are seven examples, pick what's most relevant to you, or even better, create your own:
"I worry too much about the future"
"I am afraid of talking to new people"
"Little things make me mad"
"I am not attractive enough to find a soulmate"
"I'm not smart enough to make more money"
"I let other people walk all over me"
"I sabotage myself any time I start to get ahead in life"
These are just 7 examples of an endless list of negative traits. Every person has some negative notions they hold about themselves. Take a moment to define one negative thought that you are consistently having about yourself. Put it in the forefront of your mind.
Now that you've defined one of the re-occurring negative notions you hold about yourself, get in touch with how it makes you feel. It's not a soothing or uplifting sensation to be thinking about this thought. You feel unhappy.
There are reasons you hold this perception about yourself. Maybe people taught you, directly or indirectly, to be this way. Maybe it manifested from specific thoughts and experiences. Either way, what you feel is now a part of you. To bring about a positive change is not to deny this negative thought, but to override it.
With the assistance of your Tourmaline crystal, you are going to banish this negative feeling by flooding it with positive ones. Never underestimate the power of the mind.
You are going to do a similar exercise as before, but this time you are going to think of a positive trait that you possess. Something you like about yourself. Here are 7 examples. You can pick the one that hits home, or even better, create one for yourself:
"I am a caring and active listener"
"My passion is what makes me a great artist"
"I have a logical mind that helps me succeed in business"
"I am generous with my money because I value friends and family"
"My unique style differentiates me from the masses"
"I am known for being a nice person"
"I am a natural-born leader"
Pick the characteristic that sounds most like you, or create your own. Then hold it in your mind, your heart, and even store it in your Tourmaline crystal.
Think about your positive trait. Get in touch with the amazing feelings that come rushing into your body. Wow, this is a lot different than the negative thought.
Take time to really reflect on this positive trait. Think about the things you have done in the past that helped to define who you are today. Think of how you will use this personality strength in the future. Most importantly, feel good about yourself and let it sink into your being.
Every positive thought you have is 10 times more powerful than a negative one. You've already drastically diminished your first negative trait by flooding it with this positive one. It's not gone, it just got smaller and less important. Your negative trait gets 1 point, and your positive trait gets 10. The ratio is 1:10.
We are going to do it again, but you'll think of another positive trait. You may already know your strength, or you can pick from one of these 7 examples:
"I tell funny jokes that make people laugh"
"I have an easygoing personality"
"I get along well with all kinds of people"
"I am firm in my beliefs and not afraid to be outspoken"
"I am a champion athlete"
"My spiritual nature keeps me calm and cool"
"I have a way with words"
Once again, pick your positive trait and feel it deep in your core. Reflect upon your past experiences and how you've put this strength to play. How have you had a positive impact on yourself and others? Let your soul be flooded with good sensation and positive vibrations, and store it in your Tourmaline crystal.
Ooo, that feels good! There are so many qualities you possess that are strengths. The initial negative trait you held about yourself still exists, but it now becomes smaller than ever. Your negative thought is 1 point, while your two positive ones are 20 points. They exist in the ratio of 1:20.
Because there are so many good things about you, we are going to do this exercise one final time. Pick a positive personality trait that you have and keep it in your mind. Here are 7 examples if you need some ideas:
"I am a team player"
"My quick mind helps me excel in academics"
"Thanks to my street smarts, I can travel just about anywhere"
"I have an adventurous spirit"
"Despite my fears, I still go after my goals with full force"
"I am kind to animals and love Mother Earth"
"I know how to make others feel good about themselves"
Take in your positive trait and own it. It's yours. You've earned it through good thoughts and actions. No one can take it away. You're going to amplify the power of your positive personality by meditating upon it and storing it into your Tourmaline crystal. Tap into the way it makes you feel.
You are glowing. You are a rainbow. You are full of light. That negative thought that was bogging you down is so small that it barely even exists now. Your three positive thoughts earned you 30 points. The ratio of negative to positive now stands at 1:30. Guess which one is more powerful?
This is the power of your mind. There was no magic or voodoo involved. You simply focused on your positive traits more than you dwelled on your negatives.
Even though it's as simple as A-B-C, you go about your days flooded with thoughts of failure and inadequacy. Sure, those will always be there, but the more you practice positive thinking, the less they will affect you.
The truly enlightened have minimized their negative to positive ratio to 1:1000, consistently and daily.
Make sure that your positive thinking practices come from a place of love and healing, not ego. Only then can you achieve a permanently positive mindset. Your relationship with yourself and others will flourish like never before.
Imagine if you do this exercise 100 times. For each negative thought, you think of ten positive traits. You will reach 1:1000 in no time. Although the exercise is best done in a state of meditation and relaxation, you can also do it in your everyday waking state.
All you need to do is to be aware of the destructive thoughts you are having and quickly combat them with positive ones. Store those positive thoughts in your Tourmaline crystals and jewelry, so you have a physical reminder to always think positive.
Now take a moment to thank yourself and your crystal for the life-transforming work you just did. It's the beginning of a lifelong path to happy living.

What do I do Post-Meditation?
Immediately following the meditation, you may feel like you are in an altered state of mind. That's because your frequency has been enhanced to a higher level than normal. Allow yourself time to enjoy this natural high, and slowly reintegrate back to the physical world.
Hold onto your Moqui stones to completely realign back with reality, and drink the water that was placed nearby.
When you are in a comfortable mental state, you can begin reflecting upon your experience. Share your thoughts, feelings, and visions with others in the meditation group.
